BTPN’s Service Acknowledged at 2017 Infobank Service Excellent Awards


PT Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional Tbk (BTPN) has been recognized at the 2017 Infobank Service Excellence Awards as the bank with the Best Performance in Account Opening Services by means of the Web/Application. At this yearly event held in Jakarta on 8 June 2017, Infobank Magazine and Marketing Research Indonesia assess the quality of the walk-in-channel and e-channel services of the country’s various banks.

 

“This award will further encourage BTPN to improve our services through the numerous innovations we create,” said BTPN Director Kharim Indra Gupta Siregar after receiving the award.

 

One of the innovations devised by BTPN was the introduction of Jenius, which revolutionized the world of banking by beginning its pioneering process of digitization at an early stage. Jenius was specifically designed to address the public need for banking services which are simple, smart and safe.  

 

With Jenius, users can open an account, set card limits, block and unblock cards, as well as manage their finances by themselves using Android or iOS-based smartphones. Jenius is a savings account complemented with a Visa debit card for worldwide retail transactions, and is also connected to the national banking network.

 

To obtain an objective assessment, the 2017 Infobank Service Excellent Awards  measure the quality of banking services by using the mystery shopping method. In this method, the evaluating institutions send out a number of 'shoppers', who are actual customers, to assess the services of the banks concerned.
